I'm indecisive on whether I should color them (probably watercolor) or use pen and ink, though I am leaning more towards the pen and ink. Do you think it needs color?
Ok, good so far. Make sure to do something to feature the portraits. You don't want the hourglass to get in the way. How are you going to treat the finals?
I don't know if the lettering around the top is working for me. I know they're just sketches, so you might already have the spacing resolved, but maybe play around with the placement a bit? what about around the edges rather than the top, or a plaque at the bottom? otherwise, I think they're looking pretty cool!
