These look great, Christian. I imagine you'll fill in those areas on Spillane with solid blacks? Also think about your use of color. You're still working with that kind of loose and limited color application you tried last semester, but I think it's still a little unresolved. Red black and white is nice, but try to use some fine touches of red in the finals. Maybe in some of the lines or in some details you add. Also, what are you thinking for the half page?
hey christian. i like what you have so far and i'm particularly excited about the mickey spillane piece. i really like the treatment of the line in this piece and how you've isolated the shadow with just outlines. after hearing what dan said, do you plan on filling in the shaded area with black? could be nice that way, but is also very interesting how it is now
