Really nice drawing here. I think these are great sketches. Think about the backgrounds. Especially the bedroom at the bottom. Maybe you could incorperate your use of patterns into the backgrounds as well. You don't have to think of it as a realistic space. Your big challenge is going to be color (based on your last piece. Think of a new way to apply it. I'd hate to see this linework obscured or ruined.

Since you're redoing the backgrounds... maybe you could exchange the fireplace for a window and show that it is cold and snowy out of doors.
and... I love your drawings. a lot.
Both are beautifully composed. I really like the winter/valentines patterns you have going on the blankets... clever :)
