i like the watch with the chain showing better...although the size of the watch in the other one is really nice. maybe if you did the chain one and made the watch part bigger? also, that wind-up monkey one is kickass. -danny
hey darcey, your pen drawings are beautiful first of all. i like the top watch piece better of the two, and i'd agree with danny by saying that you should show that small bit of chain. The bee spot is also very nice, but i think i saw someone's legs in it. It could just be my imagination. Also, for the full page, i really like it, but i start to feel uneasy when i see an actual room start to form. I was just noticing how the picture frame on the wall made sense with the door and also with the telephone on the pedestal. i think if you just removed the picture frame around the car and drew in a road for the car to be leading you into the picture, that would solve the realistic quality that's starting to happen in this surreal piece.
These look really great. I keep bouncing back and forth from the first watch to the second. I think the second one right now? Yeah. I think what you have for the full page is wonderfully imaginative. Great job.
