putting these up early so I don't forget. Obviously the backgrounds will be finished for the final.

These look really nice, Rachel. The colors you're using looks really great. The top piece works better than the bottom one for me right now. The top's composition is stronger than the bottom and your proportions are off on the bottom piece as well.

Oops. Also, you have the Xbox controller backwards. Colored buttons and one stick are on the right side, second stick and + pad are on the left. Do a google image search for "xbox 360 controller".

I really like the monochromatic color schemes in these. I also like the top one alot better, but the laptop really doesn't feel like its in the same space as them, I don't think it would be sitting so flat across their laps, especially if she's moving like that. maybe tilt it a little? or like its about to fall?

Rachel I really love these! Also, kudos for posting so early! Fantastic! The colors look great. The people look attractive but not unrealistically so. The gadgets (with the exception of what Sam noticed about the X-Box controller) look really great too. Here are some thoughts. I like the space in the X-Box one but you may need to crop in ever so slightly for the sake of the compostion. Also you could maybe put some games under the bed or something to give us a greater reason for seeing it. The guy's pose is cute but tighten it up a little bit to make it look more passionate and less sugar coma. The top piece is a brilliant idea. Fireplace in the airport! What would happen if you put the laptop on the seats and had them cuddeling on the floor in front of it? Maybe snuggeled up in coats or something? Looking great!

i just noticed that guy has batman pajamas on. awesome. anyway, these are drawn really well, and the colors are really nice. the laptop looks like its not actually sitting on their legs though. also, the fact that the xbox is way over there doesn't really make any sense. i understand doing that for the sake of composition and everything, but maybe try to work out something that would make better sense as well.
