im still debating the color of the kid's clothes. Sometimes i look at it and i like it and other times i just kind of blink at it. his pants and stuff will be drawn better and more detailed at a later time. oh and his face is little odd right now. im gonna keep working on that angle.

Robbie, I think if you resolve the lighting on this a bit more and clean things up (I'm certain you will), this will be really solid. Be careful with making the jewelry she's got on the same color as the headphone cord. It kind of reads like it's wrapped around her thumb right now.
the color makes this really interesting, and pleasing to the eye. it also does great for making that theater/mp3 player pop out. the idea is really strong, i do think it needs something other then that flat color in the background, but i know you were pretty much planning on doing that anyway. also, make his head not protruding so far out. make his chin closer to his neck, not sticking out so far, and itll look less stiff and more natural. the rest is great. nice work!

Aside from the issues you and the others already pointed out, I would say continue thinking about the device in his/her hands. It's not quite right. I think it needs to be both more i-podish, and more theaterish at the same time. Maybe just literally draw an i-pod type thing and then add the kiosk signage and maybe some curtains. Maybe even a line of little people waiting to get in in his hand or on his arm.
